GlassAct
The Southeastern Michigan Glass Beadmakers Guild was founded in 2000 and is the Metro Detroit area's local chapter of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB). Our group's name is GlassAct.
We're an organization dedicated to the education, promotion and preservation of lampwork. We're a diverse Guild - all levels from beginner to advanced are welcomed.
Our Mission:
- To provide education related to contemporary glass beadmaking and
lampworking.
- To promote the continued renaissance of glass beadmaking,
lampwork, and other related glass-working techniques.
- To preserve
the historic tradition of glass beadmaking and lampwork.
